What To Expect

PARKING

When you come into our parking lot there will be a place to park just for you.

COFFEE SOCIAL

Join us at 8:20 am for a coffee social that takes place in the gymnasium until 9:00am and then the Sunday School begins. This a great way of getting to know others of the congregation.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

At 9:00 am our Sunday School begins. There are classes for children, youth and adults.

WELCOME CENTER

As you enter the welcome center area, there will be greeters there to greet you, giving you a bulletin that has our program information in it for the service. on the Welcome Center there are great reading materials that are there for your enjoyment and benefit.

WORSHIP SERVICE

We encourage everyone to enter the sanctuary at 9:55 am.

Our worship team will begin leading us into the presence of the Lord. We have a variety of worship teams that lead us in our worship. We have a variety of worship styles from sing hymns, worship songs to instrumental.

One of the pastors will welcome you and have a prayer of invocation.

There will be a time of announcements.

After the announcements, one of the Elders will have the devotional and prayer time. The Elder will have the usher come to the front to receive the tithes and offerings. During the prayer time it is open to the audience to share prayer needs, praises and testimonies. The Elder will also pray for those having birthdays that week.

The worship team comes back to the front for more worship.

One of the Pastors, Elders and on occasion a layman will preach from the Holy Scriptures.

We do not have a children’s church. Our children are included in the worship service.

Descriptive Directions

From the west:

State Route 2 - as you enter Hicksville, Arthur Street is the second street to the left after the Sunoco gas station. Take Arthur to 4 way stop; we are at the corner of Arthur and Spencerville.
State Route 18 - as you enter Hicksville, Arthur Street is the first street to the right after passing underneath the train viaduct. Take Arthur 2 blocks and we are on the left at the corner of Arthur and Spencerville.

From the East

State Route 2 - as you enter Hicksville, go through downtown and after the third traffic light, take the first right which is Spencerville street. Take Spencerville to 4 way stop; we are at the corner of Arthur and Spencerville.
State Route 18 - as you enter Hicksville, you will intersect with State Route 2. Turn left on State Route 2 and go through downtown and after the third traffic light, take the first right which is Spencerville street. Take Spencerville to 4 way stop; we are at the corner of Arthur and Spencerville.

From The North

State Route 49 - as you enter Hicksville, you will intersect with State Route 2. Turn right on State Route 2 and go through downtown and after the third traffic light, take the first right which is Spencerville street. Take Spencerville to 4 way stop; we are at the corner of Arthur and Spencerville.
