I have been helping my parents build their new house lately and they needed to tear down the old house in order to start building the new one. Ephesians 4:22-24 states "throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy" (NLT). Out with the old and in with the new! Just like the old house can not be used any more, our decision changed about fixing it. We need to be all in for Jesus and make a daily conscious decision to follow his plan for our lives.
