Trust in the Lord with all Thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6.
Chances are if you use GPS to guide you to your destinations you have been lead astray a time or two. Last weekend we went camping and had the GPS programmed to take us to our campsite. I had been to this campground once before and so I had a general idea where we were going. Before we had gone too far I began to question the route we were taking, and tried several times to get redirected but the GPS was convinced that we were on track to our destination. The longer it went the more frustrated I became and we finally arrived at the wrong place. Fortunately there was a man there that knew were we wanted to be. He Even had a paper map to show us the way!
Our path in life is much more important than any destination that GPS can take us to here on this earth. Proverbs 3 tells us that if our faith and trust are in the Lord, He will show us the way that He has planned for us.
What is your source of direction for life’s journey? Are you frustrated with the turns your life has taken? Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the Father, but by me.
God has a plan and a purpose for your life and He desires to lead you on that path. Ask Him to guide you and direct you today. You can enter Gods kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and it’s gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gate way to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. Matthew 7:13-14. If you are trying to find your way on life’s journey without Gods guidance, stop and turn to Him. His word is a lamp to our feet and a light onto our paths.
